Did you know that Warsaw was the biggest Jewish city in Europe? They made up 30% of the city’s population. Jews lived here since the settlement of the city in the medieval period. For more than 600 years they co-created the city and its rich culture. The creator of Esperanto language lived here, some Noble Prize winners are connected with the Polish capital as well. We’ll show you the fascinating yet dramatic story of the Jews in Warsaw and take you to places that form today’s modern centre of the Jewish community’s life.
